Toronto Photographer | Putting in the photography work…

There is a level we all strive to reach, whether that is a creative level, technical level, or even a level in the bank account… we all strive for our own goals. However, I’ve been hearing/reading a lot of gripe about people who are just starting out getting the business that the “veteran” believes is owed to them. Well, nothing is owed you to, whether you’ve been in the industry for X years or not. No matter whether you think they are no where near your talent etc. The truth is, people hire who they like. So, the youngsters joining the ranks are getting gigs because they have a natural social game - that is all part of it. They are paying their dues by putting in the work now, learning the craft while doing it. Don’t be bitter, don’t judge, just do your thing and put in the work… put in the hustle… put in the grind… whatever you call it, don’t fret about what others are doing and focus on what you’re potentially not doing.
