Toronto Photographer | People vs. Products

On one of the common 2-hour sleep nights, you have a lot to think about, and lot of YouTube to help put things into perspective - funny that YouTube can actually be helpful. One thing last night was a video that allowed me to totally reset my focus, a video from FlashFilm Academy… originally shared via FStoppers.com. The video touched on if you want to make money as a photographer, stop photographing people. I love food and product photography but I moved away from it for quite some time, focusing on a genre that is very beautiful, but doesn’t necessarily pay for itself all the time.

So, it is time for another reset back to food and product photography and the best part about the switch, is we get to eat the food after it is photographed… fat and happy indeed.

Thank you FlashFilm Academy for the video and the straight shooting gut check and resetting me on a path I really enjoy… Not that I don’t enjoy making pictures, that is great too.
