Toronto Photographer | Quality photography print production
I’ve been having a bit of a debate with other creatives lately. I’m all about quality, and ensuring clients get the best pieces they can for the money being spent. Other artists, have said, “If I did that I wouldn’t have clients…” or “My clients wouldn’t pay that…” The thing is, your clients are not mine. I value my artwork, so I want the printing or the framing to be done in a particular way. I don’t want to cheap out, I want to go for the best quality of products within a particular range of profit margin for me.
Now, will most people won’t really notice the difference? Maybe not, but the little touches, or the feel of the framed piece when they unwrap it says a little extra to them. The weight of the actual glass in the frame (no plastic), the metal frame itself allowing for easy hanging or the extra depth of the wooden frame - just making it stand out a bit more… those touches may not mean a lot to most people, but to me it means I’m giving my clients a little extra quality and a little extra effort. You deserve that.
I want my clients to know, I’d be happy to hang their artwork ordered in my own home, and I’m a very particular person when it comes to hanging items in my home.
If you want people to care more about your work and what you provide, then take a little extra care providing the artwork you want to last in a client’s personal space for years to come…
That’s all.
