Toronto food photography & staying creative

Hogtown Ale Creative Session for Practice

I love taking a moment to make an image, and try new things. For a while I focused heavily on food photography, but then shifted to people... I think the two can overlap in skillsets, so I'm just having fun making various images. Practicing being creative and trying to just be a bit creative on a continuous basis is great way to keep my mental health. The stress of the everyday can be a bit much at times, but taking a moment to do something different to reset and recompose myself is my way of dealing with various things going on.

I loved making this image, whether you find it a good image or not, I just like to break the norm and play. The following are some of the behind the scenes of making this image.
