Making family portraits - my style

I don't work with families often, but I love the challenge. I have a lot of practice ahead of me and a lot of growth–especially if I want to live up to the "standards" of my peers, but I don't really care what they think.

My goal making images is to learn more and to make the people I'm making the images for happy. I don't really care what the photographer down the street thinks, or if there aren't catchlights in the eyes or other things that only other photographers will notice... I want to make images which offer challenges, learning opportunities and make my clients smile.

Keep challenging yourself. Keep learning. Keep smiling.
