Post Production Revisited

I'm constantly trying to learn new techniques or refine style (which I haven't found and am still looking for). Last night I wanted to play with some older images and revisit my edits to them. It is a bit of a fun process to see how I've grown and my post work taste has changed. The below shows a couple of two edits of the same shot. The image on the left was done on May 23, 2013 and the one on the right was done yesterday evening (Feb. 2, 2015).

The new image on the right is noticeably warmer with more reds in the scene and most noticeably in the hair and glasses. My continued love of strong black is still present with a bit more dodging and burning.

I'll continue to grow and refine and eventually find my style, and I look forward to that day whether it is a week, month or years away.

Cheers!
